Grant Hill puts Parker ahead of Wiggins
TNT’s Grant Hill joined the show to talk about the NCAA Tournament and the big NBA storylines.
Hill said he thinks Duke’s Jabari Parker is a little bit ahead of Kansas’ Andrew Wiggins right now. Wiggins is more athletic, but Parker can do more and is more skilled. But Hill thinks unfair expectations will be put on Parker and Wiggins if they go to the NBA next season.
“To think they can come in right away and lift a franchise like Philadelphia is a little much,” Hill said, “and we’re setting up a disaster.”
Hill also had interesting comments on Phil Jackson and the Knicks. Hill said a big question is will Carmelo Anthony change and become more efficient. Hill said probably not at this point.
Hill talked about how he became a defensive stopper late in his career. “I was in Phoenix,” Hill said. “No one else played D.”
