Archie Miller hopes to stay at Dayton for ‘long, long time’
Dayton coach Archie Miller joined guest host Chris Mannix to talk about Dayton’s win over Stanford and his future.
Mannix asked how long he wants to coach at Dayton. “I hope a long, long time,” Miller said. “It’s a great place to coach.”
Miller said he was very happy with their play, obviously, but wish they would slow down a bit. “Some times it seemed like we were on speed,” Miller said. “A few of those plays we could have taken a few more minutes off the clock.”
Chris asked if he could beat his brother Sean (coach at Arizona) in a shooting contest. “I’m gonna win today,” Miller said. “He probably hasn’t shot a ball in 15 years.”
Miller said his aunt works at Boston College.
