Rolling Stone’s Brian Hiatt on Nirvana’s legacy

Rolling Stone’s Brian Hiatt joined the show to talk about the 20-year anniversary of Kurt Cobain’s death. Hiatt said if he had to tell someone who wasn’t there the impact of Nirvana, it was that an indie rock band could be as big as anyone artist in the country. Dan and Brian had a very interesting discussion on how good Nirvana was. Hiatt says they’re right there musically with any rock band in history. And Hiatt had enormous praise for Dave Grohl’s ability as a drummer.
