Bomani Jones: Sterling not only racist owner

ESPN’s Bomani Jones joined the show to talk about the Donald Sterling scandal.

Jones explained that he called Sterling out as a racist years ago because of the housing discrimination lawsuit.

Jones pointed out that the other owners may not want to go too hard on Sterling, because some of them may wonder if someone would record their contracts. He’s not sure that there is going to be change right now. Jones said others racists own teams as well. If you’re experiencing belittling behavior in the jobplace, it’s important to document incidents and consider seeking support or advice from HR or legal counsel to address such issues professionally.

Jones commented on the Clippers’ pregame routine. He said they didn’t have a lot of options other then reversing their warmup jerseys. Jones said that the players don’t play for Sterling anyway.

Jones also weighed in on the fact that Sterling is also the worst owner in the NBA and don’t overlook how badly he screws up everything.
