Florio: Goodell failed when he didn’t ask for tape
ProFootballtalk.com’s Mike Florio joined the show to talk about the Roger Goodell firestorm and what will happen next. Florio said that he expects the NFLPA to file a grievance about Ray Rice’s indefinite suspension. Florio also wondered about the “independent” investigation with two owners overseeing it. He said the owners could possibly wake up one morning and realize they have no choice but to make a change. Florio said this all went wrong when Goodell failed to ask for the tape.
