NOW president: NFL more concerned with image than justice

NOW president Terry O’Neill joined the show to talk about why her organization wants Roger Goodell to step down.

O’Neill said that their organization isn’t just concerned about Ray Rice, it’s all the incidents over the years. “It seems obvious that there is a real problem,” O’Neill said.

O’Neill said that the NFL’s reaction to domestic violence arrests is troubling. “There is a clear pattern to sweep these incidents of violence under the rug,” O’Neill said.

She thinks Goodell is a good man and he doesn’t want these things to happen, but when they do, he’s more concerned about image than justice.
