Tony Dungy weighs in on Peyton’s future, reversed call

NBC NFL analyst Tony Dungy joined the show to talk about the divisional round of the playoffs.

Dungy weighed in on Peyton Manning’s future. He said he wouldn’t be surprised if Peyton retired, but that he guesses he’ll come back because he doesn’t want to go out on a game like that. He said that Peyton goes hunting with Eli after the season and will take some time.

Dungy said this season ended like last season for Manning – the Seahawks knew in the Super Bowl that Peyton couldn’t throw long. The Colts knew the same thing.

Dungy said that he believed Dez Bryant’s catch was correctly reversed against the Packers. He said they’d call it that way “1,000 out of 1,000 times.” He said they taught receivers not to reach out for extra yards because it could cost them a catch.
