Charles Barkley: Kobe has to pass the torch; Pippen no LeBron

Barkley said Kobe has to pass the torch and he hopes this is his last season. Barkley said he hung on two years too long and he hopes Kobe doesn’t do that.
Barkley had interesting comments on the Lakers taking D’Angelo Russell. Barkley thinks that this notion that “everything is going to become small ball is a little exaggerated.”
Barkley also weighed in on Scottie Pippen’s claim he was LeBron before LeBron. Barkley said that’s not true, Pippen couldn’t do as much. “Scottie wasn’t a guy who could get you 30 every night,” Barkley said.
