Seth Meyers comments on Jeter, hosting ESPYs
Saturday Night Live star and ESPYs host Seth Meyers joined the show to talk about this week’s big show and more.
Meyers said that Derek Jeter would be a great topic for a roast, because the best roasts are for people who everyone likes. “I think Jeter would be more fun because A-Rod would to mean,” Meyers said.
Meyers said the biggest challenge hosting the “WIth all due respects to work stoppages, they’re not exactly a comedy goldmine,” Meyers said.
Dan and Meyers discussed getting a shout-out to DanNation during the show. Meyers is going to try, so we actually have to watch. Meyers did say that he does a rehearsal of the whole thing for ESPN executives, so we’re not getting our hopes up.
