Warren Moon talks about Cam Newton’s NFL future
Hall of Famer Warren Moon joined the show to talk about the big stories around the NFL.
Moon weighed in on Cam Newton, who he has helped advise Newton on draft preparation. He got Newton together with the people who are training him now.
Moon said that Newton is working now to get used to taking the ball from under center.
“Repetition is the key, and he’s working his tail off right now to get ready,” Newton said.
Moon thinks that Newton has been very honest with people, and won’t have any problems with the team interview process. Moon said that some of the things Newton did were when he was younger, and he’s grown out of that.
Moon commented on some of the negative press Newton has gotten. “I don’t think he’s getting a bad rap,” Moon said. “People are just being very cautious.”
