Travis said SEC, ESPN face legal hurdles

Nashville radio host (104.5 The Zone) and editor of Outkickthecoverage.com Clay Travis joined the show to talk about the issues with Texas A&M possibly going to the SEC.

“The SEC is terrified of getting sued and they’re trying to do everythingin in an appropriate manner,” Travis said.

Travis said one of the problems is ESPN can’t really give out information without betraying partners.

Travis said the SEC wants to expand its reach and will possibly look at Texas Tech, Oklahoma, Virginia and some other new states.

Travis said the key for the Big 12 is to keep Texas. “If Texas wants to go independent, than the Big 12 will cease to exist,” Travis said.
