Jason Whitlock says Vick is right, Romo is now a Super Bowl-caliber QB

FOXSports.com’s Jason Whitlock joined the show to talk about Michael Vick’s complaints about big hits after the Eagles-Giants game.

“I agree with Michael Vick to some degree,” Whitlock said. “Referees have troubles with athletic quarterbacks. A lot of his hist are ignored. But I think Ben Roethlisberger, Aaron Rodgers and Donovan McNabb in his his prime … they all took hits and referees tend to look the other way.”

Whitlock said that Vick is arguing I’m a superstar, the league should protect me like Drew Brees and Tom Brady.

Whitlock said that defenses definitely target Vick. And Whitlock said Vick isn’t young any more and the hits might hurt more.

Whitlock also had interesting comments on the ever-changing perception about Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo. Jason

“I think this guy has grown up and he’s the quarterback Bill Parcells thought he would be,” Whitlock said. “He reminds me more of a bit more talented Phil Simms. … I saw a quarterback last night you could definitely win a Super Bowl with.”
