Dwyane Wade: Being father comes first so playing overseas may not happen

Miami Heat star Dwyane Wade joined the show to talk about his offseason and what’s next for the NBA.

Dan asked Wade if he will go play overseas. “I’m a father first. I have to make decisions based on what’s best for my kids,” Wade said. “Right now I still have hope the NBA season will come about.”

Wade said there have been what he described as “rumors” that a foreign team wants him. He said there’s a team in China that was “rumored” to want him.

Wade talked about the first Chicago Bulls game he ever saw. He earned the right to be there by being on a youth team and going to the arena. He tried to shake Michael and Scottie’s hands, but couldn’t get to them. Instead he shook Phil Jackson’s hand.
