Joe Buck says Giants match up well with Pack, gives up secrets on Aikman
FOX’s Joe Buck joined guest host Howard Eskin to talk about the NFL playoffs.
Eskin asked Buck if he thinks the Giants have a chance against the Packers.
“I give them a good chance,” Buck said. “The Giants were in a heavyweight fight with them [in the regular season]. You look at a healthier [Justin] Tuck and [Osi] Umenyiora is back. Eli is hot. [Mario] Manningham is back.”
Buck also shared some tricks of the trade. He said that he’s really a tall guy, but he looks like a dwarf next to Troy Aikman. And Buck won’t take off his gloves during live look-ins to look tough. “You don’t want to have your teeth chattering and look like you’re freezing when you come on camera,” Buck said.
Buck gave up some secrets about Aikman as well. He said that he uses the stylus he updates his telestrator with is also used as a toothpick.
