Phil Simms: Sanchez will have trouble holding off Tebow

CBS’ Phil Simms joined the show to talk about the big storylines around the NFL.

Simms explained why certain coaches would want a quarterback like Tim Tebow. Because some coaches don’t want to throw. Rex Ryan is not built to have a pass-heavy team.

Simms thinks it’s going to be hard to keep Tebow off the field in New York. “[Tebow’s] will is very strong,” Simms said. “If it is successful for four or five games, it will just become more. It will be hard for Mark Sanchez to hold this off.”

Simms said Sanchez has some clout now that he has guaranteed money, and it may be the time for him to be a bit rebellious and stand up for himself.
