Paul Finebaum says Petrino still Arkansas’ coach because he wins
Paul Finebaum, host of the Paul Finebaum Radio Network, joined the show to talk about the fallout of Arkansas coach Bobby Petrino’s motorcycle accident and his connection to a woman in the Arkansas athletic department.
Finebaum said that Petrino should be OK as long as more scandals don’t come up. Finebaum weighed in on what Petrino means to this school. “He’s vital,” Finebaum said. “He’s 21-5. That’s really the only number that matters.”
Finebaum said that Petrino is the best coach there in some time. “They love Bob Petrino in Arkansas,” Finebaum said.
Finebaum said everyone can probably live with the affair. That happens all the time. “The issue is the hiring process,” Finebaum said, since he brought the young woman into the athletic department.
