Stacey King says don’t count out Bulls without Rose
CSN Chicago analyst Stacey King joined the show to talk about the impact of the Derrick Rose injury.
King looked back at the moment Rose hurt his ACL. “You could have heard a pin drop in the United Center,” King said. “Everything just stopped.”
King stood up for Bulls coach Tom Thibodeau. “This is not his fault,” King said. “This is the way he coaches.” He pointed to several blown leads for the Bulls in recent weeks, and said the momentum had been turning against him.
King said don’t write off the Bulls even without Rose. He said they’re great defensively and rebounding and that’s not because of Rose.
