Mike Florio says NFL could argue players now know risks
Profootballtalk.com editor Mike Florio joined the show to talk about the concussion lawsuit and more.
Florio talked about one possible NFL defense: “One of the big argument will be if we had told you everything there is to know, you still would have played.”
And Florio said the NFL likely wasn’t hiding too much information on the head injuries. “This isn’t a situation where the NFL had its head in the sand,” Florio said. “Everyone was in the dark.”
Florio said the players need to quit complaining every time the League tries to make the game safer.
Florio also weighed in on Saints GM Mickey Loomis. He said that Loomis hasn’t heard from anyone yet and he’s open to talking about the report that he eavesdropped on opponents’ signals.
