George Karl breaks down Finals, comments on Mike Dunlap

Denver Nuggets coach George Karl joined the show to break down the NBA Finals.

Karl is fired up about the matchup. “I’m excited to see the game Thursday,” Karl said.  “I don’t usually get excited to the see the NBA Finals,” Karl said.

Dan asked Karl as a coach, if he was coaching against the Thunder, is he OK with Russell Westbrook scoring 43 points? “I would prefer him to have the game he had last night and try to control the other guys,” Karl said.

Karl has a problem with flopping and thinks the NBA will fix it.”I have a feeling there will be some more restrictions made to penalize the guys who flop and protect the referee,” Karl said.

Karl said that he thinks Mike Dunlap, his former assistant, is going to be good as the Charlotte Bobcats coach. He said he may need help, but Karl thinks Dunlap should have gotten a major job before this.
