Jim Boeheim talks about challenges facing U.S. Men’s basketball

Syracuse coach and U.S. men’s basketabll coach Jim Boeheim joined guest host Glenn Ordway to talk about the team’s chances for gold.

Boeheim commented on why there are moments when the U.S. is in tight games. “These teams are better,” Boeheim said. “our team is playing well. But if you slip a little bit … if your defense is a little late, they’ll hit shots.”

Boeheim said there lack of height on defense isn’t a problem because they have a huge advantage on offense with big men trying to match up with LeBron James.

But Boeheim did say it’s always dangerous in international play. “We are under no illusion it’s going to be easy,” Boeheim said.
