Melissa Stark on role of sideline reporter, working with Dennis Miller
NFL Network’s Melissa Stark joined the show to talk about her new NFL show and to share her thoughts on Week 1.
Stark talked about the role of the sideline reporter. She said it’s a limited role because you only get on camera a few times. Stark addressed the issue of getting a job because of looks: “You couldn’t just do this job based on looks. Does it help if you’re good looking? Or course. You can’t just be attractive.”
Stark talked about working with Dennis Miller on Monday Night Football. He said that he could come in and be very quiet — typical dark comedian. But when he was on, Miller was really on. Stark said that it was great working with John Madden.
