Tim Brown talks about how a WR can win Heisman

Former NFL and Notre Dame star Tim Brown joined the show to preview the Miami-Notre Dame game and more.

Brown talked about why he won the Heisman as a receiver. He thought returning punts and kicks kept his and Desmond Howard’s name out there and that helped a lot.

Brown had interesting comments on why he chose Notre Dame. He said that it’s more about the degree than being a first-round pick.

Brown commented on not getting into the Pro Football Hall of Fame. He said that people say he played in the passing era so his numbers aren’t as big a deal. Brown said if he played in the passing era, then what do you call today?
